Terms and Conditions of Sale

Purchasing a Bear

You may purchase a bear with the following methods:

You may make a direct payment from this website with the use of the paypal button.

You can e-mail or phone me to reserve your bear,

 then call me with credit card information or mail a check or money order. 

Bears are marked adopted/sold when payment is received or a verbal arrangement has been made.

Custom Orders

Many collectors will call or email me with an idea and ask me to create a special bear just for them.

Custom orders require a deposit of $50.00 non-refundable.

Commissioned bears are accepted as my time allows.  Usually only one custom order is accepted per month.

*No returns on commissioned bears please.*

Payment

Paypal is my preferred method of payment.

  It is the safest, easiest way to pay for your teddy and you  don't need a paypal account.

If you would like to use a different payment method, please phone me at 219-324-5638 or send an e-mail to hagerbears@frontier.com.

 
International buyers, paypal only please.

Layaway

For up to a six month layway, please use paypal credit.

 Bears purchased on layaway program are non-returnable.

Returns
*All Sales are Final*

Postage

For shipping within the United States:  Postage fees are included in the paypal buy it now button.

 If you purchase more than one bear, I will calculate the correct shipping amount and promptly refund the difference.

International shipping can be calculated and a separate paypal request sent  This way you will have an accurate shipping amount . Insurance optional.

Packages will be shipped using USPS Priority Mail. Insurance is optional.
International packages are shipping USPS Priority Mail International.
I am not responsible for lost or damaged packages or international customs fees.

All teddy bears and friends are designed and handcrafted by Donna Hager.

They are not toys and are intended for adult collectors only.
